The real summer problem

Your child has acceleration. What they need is belonging.

The flat summer

Three weeks of day camp that are fine but not quite right. A week of grandma. Two weeks of a marketplace site with a different teacher every class. By August your child is tired, flat, and the May momentum is gone.

No real peers

Your child can teach themselves most of what school is teaching. What they can't give themselves is a room full of kids who think the way they do.

The September gap

Every summer without intellectual friendships quietly teaches them their people don't exist. That's the actual thing we're trying to fix.

"Mom, these people get me."
— Zoey, after her first YSA class
The Summer Pass

One pass. Ten weeks. Your summer, handled.

Live camps, built for gifted and 2E kids, every week from June 1 through August 7. The All-Access Pass is the full summer experience: 5 camps a week, the same small cohort Monday through Friday, 250 hours of live learning, and a Blueprint Call with Mr. Sam before any of it begins.

What a YSA camp actually is

Each camp is a five-session live course. 50 minutes a day, Monday through Friday. Five hours with the same small group, the same teacher, one subject explored in real depth. Camps run every hour from 7 AM to 7 PM Pacific across all 10 weeks.

How big the catalog is

321 sessions. Around 100 unique titles. Seven categories: Gaming, STEM, History & Humanities, Arts, Life Skills, College Prep, and Social.

You don't pick alone

Before any camp starts, Mr. Sam (or Ms. Ann) sits with you on a 60-minute Blueprint Call and builds your child's custom 10-week schedule — matched to their interests, their friends, their energy. You leave that call with the whole summer mapped.

"Try From the Inside"
100% Satisfaction Guarantee

You wouldn't buy a house without walking through it. You shouldn't commit to summer without the same right. We're not asking you to leap blind — we're asking you to try from the inside.

For À La Carte families: If your child doesn't love their camp by end of Day 1, we'll transfer them to another camp or give you full credit. No hassle, no guilt.

For Summer Pass families:

  • Individual camps can be swapped freely — let us know by end of Day 1.
  • If the pass isn't working after your first full week, we convert 100% of your pass value to YSA credit that never expires.
  • That credit applies to any future camps, courses, or school year enrollment. Nothing is lost.
  • After the first week, all sales are final. The pass cannot be downgraded to à la carte.

"Best case: your child has the most incredible summer of their life. Worst case: every dollar becomes credit toward our school year courses. Both protect your investment. The only thing guaranteed not to help is doing nothing."

What families are saying

Hear it from the kids themselves.

Worried about travel?

Take us with you. Plane, train, automobile.

Because YSA is fully virtual, kids join camps from a grandparent's kitchen, a hotel room in Barcelona, a campground with decent wifi, or the backseat of a minivan on the 101. Every session is recorded, too, so anything truly missed can be watched on your timeline. Full swap rules are covered in the guarantee above.

Questions before you enroll

What families ask before saying yes.

My child has a short attention span. Can they really do 3 or 5 camps per week?
Yes — and the format actually works in your favor. Each camp is 50 minutes with the same small group on a subject your child chose. Attention holds better with short daily sessions than with long weekly classes. Most families find their child asks for more by week two.
How is YSA different from the big online class platforms?
Those are marketplaces of independent teachers with variable quality and no consistent community. YSA is a curated school. Every teacher is selected and trained to work with gifted and 2E learners. Your child sees the same small cohort Monday through Friday and builds real friendships across 10 weeks. The Virtual Campus makes that community continuous, not just 50 minutes at a time.
How do we pick from 321 sessions?
You don't, alone. Before your first camp, Mr. Sam or Ms. Ann sits with you on a 60-minute Blueprint Call and builds your child's custom 10-week schedule. You leave with the whole summer mapped.
My child is twice-exceptional. Will this actually work?
Yes. YSA was built for twice-exceptional learners specifically. Every teacher is trained in 2E. Classes are small. Transitions happen on the Virtual Campus with supervised space to decompress. This is not a platform — it's a school run by humans who know your kid.
Is this accredited?
YSA holds WASC accreditation. Summer enrichment camps are experiential learning, not transcript-credit courses. We're happy to provide documentation for homeschool records on request. Our accredited academic school-year courses are separate.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. All three passes are available in a 3-month flex plan at a 10% premium. Payment one at enrollment, payments two and three at 30 and 60 days.

Your child has one summer at this age.

They can spend it mostly alone, mostly underwhelmed, mostly waiting for September. Or they can spend it with their people, building real friendships and real momentum. Passes close April 30 at midnight Pacific.
