Your Child Isn't Broken - Their Environment Is
Most families find us when traditional approaches have failed their brilliant, asynchronous learner.
They're Just in the Wrong Environment.
-
Your child: "I want to make friends, but other kids don't get me."
You as a parent: You're on this journey alone. Even your own family doesn't understand or support the decisions you're making.
What research shows: Having a friend as early as kindergarten is one of the greatest predictors of academic success. The occurrence of laughter increases 8x when children are with intellectual peers. —Dr. Isabelle Hau, Stanford
-
"They think WON'T is a CAN'T"
Teachers judge your child for not fitting in instead of understanding their unique needs. They're labeled lazy, disruptive, or behind - when they just learn differently.
What's at stake: What if Einstein had been forced to focus on sports instead of science? What if Bill Gates was never introduced to computers? What if Simone Biles was never given gym time -
Strengths Ignored, Challenges Not Served
Your child has high highs and low lows. They can discuss quantum physics but struggle with executive function skills like remembering to turn in work.
Hidden strengths and talents are buried beneath the surface.
Traditional school focuses relentlessly on what they can't do instead of celebrating what they can.
The truth: No one cares what you're bad at when you're really good at stuff. -
"Will my kid be ok?"
You're worried about more than just college readiness, executive function skills, or career preparation… You wake up at 2 AM wondering if they're going to be ok on their own.

We encourage it! Many children love floating between classrooms and meeting potential friends. However, it's not required, some parents prefer to explore first and bring their child to a trial class later.
